Tacho is a comprehensive bike computer application designed for use with both the Apple Watch and iPhone. The Tacho Watch app allows users to effectively track their cycling workouts, integrating seamlessly with the Apple Health app on their iPhone.

The Tacho Watch app offers flexibility, functioning independently or in conjunction with an iPhone. Tracking can be initiated directly on the Apple Watch, and the Tacho iPhone app provides access to important performance metrics including speed, heart rate, elevation, incline, wind speed, wind direction, and air temperature. Users will find additional metrics displayed on the Apple Watch, such as average and maximum speed, heart rate, and both ascent and descent data.

One notable feature is the auto-pause function, which ensures that only the time and distance during which the rider is actually in motion are recorded. This enhances the accuracy of workout statistics.

Equipped with a barometric altimeter, Tacho delivers precise altitude readings that automatically calibrate based on GPS data during use. To keep users informed of changing conditions, weather updates occur every five to fifteen minutes depending on the user's speed and location.

The app records a variety of metrics within the Apple Health app on the iPhone, including:

• Events (such as start/end of pause and movement)
